Outdoor Afterschool Program

Swap screens for streams!

Give your child a space to run free, build confidence and decompress in nature after a long school day.

What we do everyday

Loose part activities – working together to build structures
Wildlife and tracking – learning about local plans, insects, and animals
Creative mud play – whittling sticks, mixing nature potions, and tracking trails
Mindful sit spots – short, calming moments to listen to birds and lower stress levels
Arts and crafts – making collages or creating individualized art pieces

Ages: 6 – 10 years old

Time: Monday – Friday 3:00 pm – 6:00 pm (or 12:00 – 6:00pm on early dismissal days)

Transportation: Safe school pickup and walking school bus

Staff: ECE certified educator in a small group setting

Please note: during times of extreme weather conditions, we will have planned activities at the community centre, library or Royal City Centre.
